Evening visit Pashupatinath Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site) for Aarati ceremony

Pashupatinath (UNESCO World Heritage Site), situated on the banks of River Baghmati around 8 km from the city, is one of the holiest Hindu shrines. The Pashupatinath Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu. It is not known for certain when Pashupatinath Temple was founded. But according to Nepal Mahatmaya an d Himvatkhanda, the deity here gained great fame there as Pashupati, the Lord of the Animals. Pashupatinath Temple's existence dates back to 400 A.D. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga or holy symbol of Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple that is also known as 'The Temple of Living Beings presiding deity here is Shiva, who is worshipped in the form of the lingam. However, only Hindus are allowed inside. Drive back to hotel. Overnight is at hotel in Kathmandu

07:30 AM : After breakfast drive to Pokhara

Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 210km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic.

Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight is at hotel in Pokhara.

After breakfast drive to Jomsom (Approx.170KM/ 8-9 hours drive)

Jomsom, also known as Dzong-Sampa or New Fort, is a beautiful city which extends over both the banks of Kali Gandaki River of Mid-Western Nepal. It lies in the trans-Himalayan region of Annapurna and is situated at the base of Mt.Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. Jomsom is a well-settled town of Lower Mustang region and often referred to as the Gateway to Upper Mustang. Jomsom is 2,760 meters high above sea level. Overnight is at Local lodge in Jomsom.

Early morning drive to Muktinath (Approx. 22 KM / 1 hour drive)

Arrival at Ranipouwa & walk to Muktinath TempleMuktinath Temple is the symbol of the religious symbiosis between both Hindus and Buddhists. The Hindu believes that lord Vishnu got salvation from the curse of Brinda (wife of Jalandhar) here. Therefore, he is worshipped as Muktinath (Lit. the lord of salvation). The holy shrine, which is said to have arisen on its own, is one of eight such shrines (the others include Srirangam, Sri Mushnam, Tirupati, Naimisaranyam, Thottadri, Pushkaram, and Badrinath). This Pagoda Style Muktinath Temple is also one of 108 Vaishnava shrines. Here in the early 19th century the Hindus consecrated a Vishnu temple and named is Muktinath - Lord of Liberation. Against a backdrop of incredible starkness, you can sit and stare at the south the snow-covered Annapurna range, or to the north the Tibetan plateau. Holy Bath and Visit Muktinath Temple. Breakfast is at hotel in Muktinath. Drive to Pokhara (Approx. 192 KM /8-9 hours drive). Arrival at Pokhara & transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight is at Hotel in Pokhara.

Early morning, sunrise view excursion from Sarangkot - The sunrise above Himalayan range is spectacular from Sarangkot View tower. The facility of Binocular is available to grasp closest view of Annapurna Mountain Ranges. We start our trip early morning to Sarangkot and view the sunrise from the hilltop.

After breakfast, start with sightseeing of Devi’s Fall, World peace stupa, Lake side & Bindabasini Temple. Devi's fall: Devi's fall (also known as Devin's and David's) is a lovely waterfall lying about 2-Km south-west of the Pokhara airport on the Siddhartha Highway. Legend has it that a trekker (Devin, David) was washed away by the Pardi Khola and mysteriously disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall. Visit Bindabashini Temple, this temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga (manifested as Bhagwati, a blood-thirsty aspect of the goddess) is located near the busy Old Bazaar of Pokhara. The white pagoda-styled building at some 3000 feet above sea level is of great religious importance to Hindus living in Pokhara. People throng to this temple daily and also offer sacrifices of animals. One may also get to witness a Hindu wedding ceremony taking place in the temple premises. World Peace Stupa (1100 m) is a Buddhist pagoda style monument on a hilltop in Ananda hill of Pumdi Bhumdi Village Development Committee near Pokhara. Nepal has two of the eighty peace pagodas in the world: Shanti Stupa in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha and Shanti Stupa in Pokhara. Shanti Stupa of Pokhara has also become a tourist attraction. It provides a panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Pokhara city and the Phewa Lake. Situated about 7 kilometres from the Highway. It located on the peak and stands as a beacon of peace and can be seen from every corner of the Pokhara valley. Shanti Stupa is the only stupa in Pokhara located at such a great height. The stupa itself covers 100 metres and its height is 11 metres. The stupa has been painted white because it is the colour and symbol of peace, therefore the name is also Peace Stupa. On the pinnacle of the stupa a golden cupola is mounted that is visible from a long distance. Among others, four majestic statues of the Buddha are placed at the four compass points and are most eye-catching. Phewa Lake: The center of attraction in Pokhara is the Phewa Lake - the second largest lake in the Kingdom. It is the largest and most enchanting of the three lakes that add to the resplendence of Pokhara. Here, one can sail or row a hired boat across to the water or visit the island temple in the middle. After boat ride free for shopping in the lake side market. Later, drive back to the hotel. Afternoon free. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara

Afternoon Sightseeing tour of Lord Buddha's Birth place. 

The birthplace of Lord Buddha is the pilgrimage destination of the world’s millions of Buddhists. The main attraction at Lumbini remains the sacred garden spread over 9 sq. kms and possessing all the treasures of this historical area. The Mayadevi temple is the main attraction for pilgrims and archaeologists alike. This site, identified by the Indian Emperor Ashoka’s commemorative pillar is listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Lumbini holds the historical and religious significance of Nepal. Maya Devi Temple. The Sacred garden:  It was here in the gardens of Lumbini that Prince Siddhartha Gautam, who later became the Buddha, was born in 623 BC. The nativity site is marked by a commemorative pillar erected by Mauryan Emperor Ashoka of India during his pilgrimage to the holy site in 249 BC. Ashoka Pillar: Built in the year 249BC, this pillar was built by King Ashok, who was Buddhist. When he constructed this pillar, the King exempted the villagers from paying tax and gave out 100 golden coins to the people. In the seventh century, the pillar was struck by lightning and split into two parts. The site was lost for six centuries and covered with dense forest before being re found in 1895. The place was cleared and the pillar reconstructed. Overnight at hotel in Lumbini.
