- Morning: Visit the Akal Takht, the highest seat of Sikh temporal authority, directly facing the Golden Temple. Explore the Sikh Museum inside the complex, chronicling centuries of Sikh history, sacrifice and resilience.
- Lunch: Try Amritsar's legendary Amritsari kulcha and lassi at a local eatery (guide's recommendation).
- Afternoon: Drive to the Wagah Border (30 km from Amritsar) for the world-famous flag-lowering ceremony. Arrive early for VIP seating close to the ceremony ground.
