About This Journey
Overview

The Golden Triangle with Haridwar & Rishikesh is Vedantaa's most complete North India tour, combining the Mughal and Rajput heritage of the Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur) with the spiritual power of two of India's holiest cities on the Ganges. The journey begins in Delhi, where Old Delhi's Mughal monuments and bustling bazaars sit alongside the tree-lined boulevards of New Delhi. From there, the route heads into the Himalayan foothills to Rishikesh, the world capital of yoga, with its suspension bridges, ashrams and evening Ganga aarti, and then to Haridwar for the spectacular Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Returning to the plains, the tour visits the Taj Mahal at dawn in Agra, the Mughal fortress of Agra Fort, and the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri, before ending with a full day in Jaipur exploring Amber Fort by elephant or jeep, the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Jantar Mantar. Travel is by private AC car with an expert driver, with English-speaking local guides in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, and handpicked hotels with breakfast throughout.

Good to Know
FAQs
When is the best time for this tour?
  • October to June is ideal. October–March offers pleasant weather for Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and the Ganges cities. April–June is warmer but still good, especially for Rishikesh and Haridwar in the foothills. Avoid July–August monsoon: heavy rain, high humidity, and some areas may be waterlogged.
Can this tour be extended?
  • Absolutely. Common extensions include Ranthambore tiger safari (from Jaipur), Varanasi and the Ganges ghats, Mumbai by flight, or a Rishikesh rafting and yoga retreat. We can customise the tour to any length.
Is the Taj Mahal closed on any days?
  • The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays (reserved for prayers at the mosque). Night viewing is available on full moon night and two days before and after (excluding Fridays and Ramadan). We plan the itinerary to ensure your visit falls on an open day.
How do I book this tour?
  • Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and group size: we will confirm hotel categories, guide availability and a final quote, then handle every booking end to end.
