Rishikesh is where the Ganga leaves the Himalayas and where, for over a century, seekers have come to sit still. This 04 night / 05 day retreat pairs the town's living yoga tradition with a proper Ayurvedic programme. On arrival you meet the Ayurvedic physician for consultation and dosha assessment, and your therapy plan is written for your constitution: full-body Abhyanga with warm herbal oils, the deep-rest Shirodhara, herbal steam and, where advised, purification (Shodhana) sequences. Each morning begins with yoga and pranayama on a riverside deck as the valley lights up, and evenings close at the ghats: the roaring, lamp-lit Ganga aarti at Triveni Ghat or the hillside amphitheatre of Parmarth Niketan. Between therapies, Rishikesh does the rest: the chanting lanes of Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, the faded Beatles-era meditative huts and murals of Chaurasi Kutia, the cold pools of Neer Garh waterfall, and a silent walk to the river-cave of Vashishta Gufa for meditation. Meals are sattvic vegetarian, no alcohol and no clutter; transfers run from Dehradun airport or Haridwar station. Extend to 7 nights for a fuller cure, or add white-water rafting and a Rajaji National Park safari on free afternoons.

- None at all. Sessions are taught for all levels and adjusted to your body, and the Ayurveda therapies are gentle and fully supervised. Absolute beginners are welcome and common.
- Sattvic vegetarian full board: fresh, light, seasonal and cooked without onion and garlic in the classical style, with herbal teas. Alcohol is not served during the programme, and the physician shares a take-home diet chart at the end.
- Three easy ways, all with included pickup: fly to Dehradun (Jolly Grant) airport, about 40 minutes away; take the Vande Bharat or Shatabdi to Haridwar, under an hour by road; or drive up from Delhi in around 5.5 to 6 hours.
- Four nights works well for rest, reset and a first taste of Ayurveda. For therapeutic goals like stress, sleep or spine care, classical Ayurveda suggests 7 to 14 nights; the same structure simply continues with deeper therapy sequences. Tell us your goal and we will size the stay.
- Yes. Add a Haridwar evening on arrival or departure, roll on to Mussoorie for hill air, or connect to our Uttarakhand and Char Dham circuits. Many guests also pair this with our Goa Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat for a beach-and-river double.
