Overview
This extraordinary 18-night circuit is India's ultimate combination of wildlife and heritage. Beginning in Delhi, the route sweeps through Sariska — Rajasthan's quieter tiger reserve — before reaching the legendary Ranthambore, where tigers roam around a 10th-century fort. A swing through Jaipur and the Taj Mahal in Agra precedes the mystical temples of Orchha and the UNESCO World Heritage sculptures of Khajuraho. Then deep into the jungles of Madhya Pradesh: Bandhavgarh — India's highest tiger density reserve — and the vast, meadow-rich sal forests of Kanha, inspiration for Kipling's The Jungle Book. A short drive to Jabalpur and a flight home completes one of the most comprehensive India journeys possible.
