Visit the green warrior village of Khonoma, famous for its battles with the British and its pioneering community-based conservation. Travel through the scenic hills to Mokokchung, home of the Ao tribe, with its rhododendron-covered hilltops at Longkhum and the ancient village of Ungma. - Kohima is lapped in the eastern frontiers of the Himalayan mountain range, marked by an unhurried pace of life, calm and serene environs, and fresh, unpolluted air
- Evening: explore the local market of the town

Kohima — WWII Cemetery & State Museum

- Visit the Kohima World War Cemetery — constructed in memory of the officers and men who made supreme sacrifices during World War II. On each grave there are beautiful epitaphs engraved in bronze.
- The famous inscription on the War Memorial stone reads: "When You Go Home, Tell Them of Us and Say, For Your Tomorrow We Gave Our Today"
- Visit the Kohima State Museum — a platform that exhibits the vibrant culture of Nagaland through a collection of fascinating arts and artifacts. It brings to limelight the culture of Nagas and their evolution through stages.

- Visit Longkhum — to witness the beauty of the magnificent rhododendrons atop the hillocks. A single visit to this place is not enough to absorb its splendour.
- Later visit Ungma Village — the second largest village in Nagaland and the oldest and largest of the Ao tribe. (Local guide mandatory)
- Believed to be the birthplace of the Ao tribe, the natives of this village have taken extra precautions to preserve the Ao culture and tradition

- Longwah village in Mon district is one of the best places to see the unique diversity of the Naga people. Located on the border of India and Myanmar — you do not need a Myanmar visa to visit this village.
- Visit villages inhabited by the Konyak tribe
- The most interesting part: the Village Chief's house is located on the borderline of Indo-Myanmar and the border passes through his house, dividing it into two halves
- Longwa is a quiet and serene place with hospitable Naga people

Mon — Hongphoi & Shangnyu Villages

- Full day excursion to Hongphoi Village (32 km one way) and Shangnyu Village (12 km one way) — Local guide mandatory
- Shangnyu village, ruled by the chief Angh, is one of the prominent villages in Mon district
- There is a wonderful wooden monument measuring 8 feet in height and 12 feet in breadth — believed to be constructed by heavenly angels. Carvings of human beings and other creatures are engraved on this monument.
- Memorial stones are also found in front of the Angh's palace
- History records that good and friendly relationships existed between Shangnyu and the Ahom Kings

Mon → Dibrugarh

- The scenic drive takes 6–7 hours through the Assam plains, passing tea gardens and rural landscapes

Important Information
Permit Regulations for Foreign Nationals
Foreign tourists visiting Nagaland must register with the Foreigner's Registration Officer (FRO) of the District they visit or the nearest Police Station within 24 hours of their arrival.
While guests are travelling by air via Dimapur airport, passport and India Visa will be verified on immigration checking. While guests are travelling by surface, passport and India Visa will be verified at the check post.
Guests are requested to carry enough copies of Passport and India Visa during the tour to Nagaland, as the same is required at different check posts in Nagaland.
