• Arrive at Guwahati airport — meet your tour guide and driver
• After settling in your vehicle, drive towards Kaziranga National Park
• Kaziranga, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famous for the Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros. The landscape is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes & shallow pools
• Declared a National Park in 1974, it is one of the last areas in eastern India undisturbed by human presence — inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as tigers, elephants, panthers, bears, and thousands of birds
• Check into resort
• Overnight at resort, Kaziranga

• Early morning: drive towards the bank of the Brahmaputra River for a dolphin boat ride (subject to river conditions and permission)
• This 2-hour boat ride has the primary objective of spotting the endangered Gangetic River Dolphin in its natural habitat
• Return to hotel for breakfast
• Mid-morning: visit the Kaziranga CWRC Interpretation Centre (with prior permission) — to educate on the challenges in conserving Assam's natural heritage. The exhibits are interactive to keep visitors engrossed
• Later: jeep safari through the villages in the fringes of the park (subject to water level in villages)
• Return to resort; overnight at Kaziranga

Shillong has a westernized culture and a very young feel. Famous as the music capital of India, many prominent musicians have hailed from this place. As the capital of Meghalaya (The Abode of Clouds), it lies on a plateau surrounded by hills with a very comfortable climate throughout the year.

• After breakfast, head towards Shillong
• En-route, stop to visit the Kamakhya Temple of Silghat and the Kamakhya Village, established by Ahom king Pramatta Singha in 1745
• Visit Silghat Trishuldhari Temple — dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on the southern bank of the River Brahmaputra. The temple is 2,000 years old and it is believed that whoever seeks blessings here has their wish granted and lives a prosperous life
• The temple offers a panoramic view of the Brahmaputra — a mini paradise for nature lovers and photographers
• If permission granted, visit the co-operative Jute Mill in Silghat
• Continue to Shillong; check into hotel
• Evening: explore the vibrant streets of Shillong
• Overnight in Shillong

Cherrapunjee, also called Sohra, is one of the wettest places on Earth. It still holds the world record for the most rainfall in a calendar month and in a year. The undulating Meghalaya uplands give way abruptly on the state's southern fringe to deep, jungle-clothed, waterfall-ribboned valleys plunging to the plains of Bangladesh.

• After settling in your vehicle, drive towards Cherrapunjee
• En-route: visit Seven Sisters Waterfalls — seven different waterfalls strategically arranged side by side on a high, rugged cliff, looking very significant even from a distance
• Nohkalikai Falls — plunging from a height of 1,115 feet amidst evergreen rainforests, one of the finest examples of nature's splendour. Famed as the world's fourth-tallest plunge waterfall
• Mwasmai Cave — only 150 meters is open for tourists. The stalactites and stalagmites have innumerable forms, shapes and sizes inside, leaving one to imagine as many life forms as possible. A magnificent natural wonder — the handiwork of years of natural abrasion and underground water
• Kho Ramhah Rock (Motrop) — a single gigantic cone-shaped rock formation
• Arwah Cave — explore the fascinating limestone formations
• Check into hotel; overnight in Cherrapunjee

• After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong Village
• Mawlynnong, located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, is also referred to as "God's Own Garden" — won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003
• The village offers picturesque natural beauty, a trek to the living root bridge at neighbouring village Riwai
• Visit the natural balancing rock — a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock
• Lunch at Mawlynnong — limited dining options at Dawki, and even those available offer basic food
• Later, visit Dawki, the Bangladesh Border (Tamabil Border from the Bangladesh side)
• Main attraction: the Umgot River with crystal-clear water where you can enjoy a boat ride (boating charges to be paid directly, subject to river conditions)
• Evening: return to Shillong for overnight stay

• After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive towards Guwahati
• On arrival, check into hotel
• Evening: visit the most important Hindu pilgrim site — Kamakhya Temple, a majestic temple located in the Nilachal Hills. One of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas
• If time permits: enjoy a sunset river cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River (subject to river conditions and availability)
• Return to hotel; overnight in Guwahati

• Breakfast at hotel
• Check out and transfer to Guwahati Airport to board flight for your onward journey
• Tour concludes. Carry the wild spirit of Kaziranga and the misty magic of Meghalaya home with you.
