Swayambhunath literally means 'Self-Existent One.' Believed to have been established more than 2,500 years ago, an inscription dated 460 AD states that construction was carried out by King Manadeva. By the 13th century it had developed into an important Buddhist learning site. Also known as the Monkey Temple for the holy monkeys living in the North West.

• Morning: Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square (UNESCO) — located in the heart of the old city, home to around 50 temples. Explore the 17th-century Durbar complex, Hanuman Dhoka, Parvati Temple, the Great Bell and Drum, Bhairav, and Taleju Temple
• Swayambhunath Stupa (UNESCO) — the ancient Buddhist stupa atop a hill, featuring the iconic all-seeing eyes of the Buddha. Known as the Monkey Temple, it offers panoramic views of the entire Kathmandu Valley

Pokhara, situated at an altitude of 827m and 210 km west of Kathmandu, is a remarkable place of natural beauty. This enchanting city has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic.

• Drive to Pokhara along the Prithivi Highway (approx. 210 km, 6–7 hours)
• The route winds through scenic riverside landscapes, small towns, and terraced hillsides

The sunrise above the Himalayan range is spectacular from Sarangkot View Tower. The facility of binoculars is available to grasp the closest view of the Annapurna Mountain Ranges. The sunrise view is followed by a tour of Pokhara's most iconic sites — Devi's Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Bindabasini Temple, and the magnificent World Peace Stupa.

• Early morning: Drive to Sarangkot for a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges
• Return to the hotel for breakfast
• Devi's Fall (Patale Chhango) — a dramatic waterfall where the Pardi Khola plunges into a deep underground canyon. Named after a trekker who was swept away into the underground passage
• Gupteshwor Cave — one of the largest caves in Pokhara, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Features natural rock formations, an underground shrine, and a unique view of Devi's Fall from within
• Tibetan Refugee Camp — visit the Tibetan settlement to witness traditional carpet weaving and handicrafts. A unique cultural encounter showcasing the resilience and artistry of the Tibetan community in exile
• Bindabasini Temple — a white pagoda-styled temple dedicated to Goddess Durga (Bhagwati), located near the Old Bazaar at 3,000 feet above sea level
• World Peace Stupa (Shanti Stupa) — situated at 1,100m, this pristine white stupa offers a panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Pokhara city, and Phewa Lake. The golden cupola on its pinnacle is visible from afar
• Afternoon: Boat tour on Phewa Lake (1 hour) — Nepal's second-largest lake. Row across the calm waters with the Annapurna range reflected in the lake. Visit the island temple of Tal Barahi in the middle of the lake
• Free time for shopping at the Lakeside market

• PM: Visit Pashupatinath Temple (UNESCO) — the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu, dating back to 400 AD. Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, the richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga of Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims from across the world come to pay homage
• Boudhanath Stupa (UNESCO) — the Vatican of Tibetan Buddhism, the world's largest Buddhist stupa built in the 14th century. Circumambulate the base surrounded by 108 small images of Dhyani Buddha Amitabha and prayer wheels. Explore the surrounding monasteries of the four Tibetan Buddhist orders
